Day two of our trip was mostly spent driving up, over and down mountain roads. Norway is after all 44% mountain, and to cross the country you´ll have to visit quite a few of them.
This is Hardangervidda, or at least the road crossing it. The sticks on the side are here all year round but do not serve their purpose before the snow starts to fall. They´ll mark the road when the snow starts to cover the landscape, and the height of the sticks is a good indication of how much snow there is here in winter. It´s really impressive!
